Death of Australian Icons

My photo story symbolises the destruction of native Australian wildlife through human society.

In the first picture there is a toy kangaroo which represents an Australian Icon of nature.

In the second picture we have a ute, commonly associated as the vehicle of the Aussie farmer, another Australian Icon, representing Australian society.

In the third picture the two icons clash. The nature icon (kangaroo) doesn't stand a chance against the fast growing, human society (ute) and is killed by it.

You can just see the ute deiving off in the baclground leaving the dead kangaroo in its wake.

This is the sad truth that I see happening in the world around us and I hope we will not lose all those precious icons that make Australia special.
